Miami has a lot of good freshman. They are on their back.

Agreed and given how poor the ACC has looked this year they could actually win the ACC this year.

I was happy with how we shut down the Gator offense cold for three quarters. Unfortunately, their depth and experience took over in the fourth quarter and it made the final score, deceptive. I really like our young defense, it is a very strong defense. The offense continues to look like crap. This is the sixth straight year the offense will be underwhelming.

The rest of the ACC looks weak though, so our defense could propel us to the conference title if the offense can make a few strides over the course of the year.

I'm pretty happy with this game.

Hey SoCal, I haven't been around this site much this year. I didn't even get a chance to watch the game tonight (I'll be able to watch it on Tivo later). Do you think this offense will ever get on track or do we need to get rid of Nix like we got rid of Walton? I'm very happy we got the guy from Kansas at defensive coordinator instead of the incompetent Walton.

It's sad to see Miami fielding such terrible offensive teams. This school has produced current NFL studs like Portis, McGahee, Gore, Edge, Wayne, Moss, Dre Johnson, Shockey, Winslow, the list goes on and on. Now we can barely score against real teams.

You will LOVE this defense. It shut those biatches down cold for three quarters and even then the ****** refs had to give them two bad calls for them to get going in the early fourth quarter. The freshman MNW kids did real well, I saw Forston and Spence creating alot of havoc and Brandon Harris is going to be an outstanding cornerback. Cook also did a real nice job. I didnt notice Allen Bailey at all though, I was expecting alot from him. Either way, the D is lights out.

I think the offense is finally getting the talent, although we didnt see that tonight. I was expecting more out of Epps, but when that big time WR class we brought in last year (Aldarious Johnson, Streeter, Johnson, etc.) grows, we'll be able to get the Khalil Jones's of the world out of our starting lineups. I was kinda disappointed in the OL, especially, Youngblood, who should be much better than he is, by this point in his career. Marve has some moxie but needs reps.

I think you'll be really happy with what you see when you watch the game, though. I think we earned alot of props tonight.

I thought it was classless for them to kick a FG with like 25 seconds left. Hopefully Spider has to head down to Gainesville pretty soon so he can punch Meyer in the throat.
