Crazy thing just happened - The Orange Mane

So less than an hour ago me and a couple of friends are coming back from getting a bite to eat after a night of poker. Everyone else in the car is about half asleep at the time. We pass over a bridge/overpass over the 5 freeway. I look and see a young woman standing there on the side of the bridge. Sort of strange at that hour of night so I keep looking as were driving ahead. She then all of a sudden scales the bridge fencing and goes over. As she goes over I yell, "ohhh nooo she just went over". We turn around and go back and we see a man run up and start pleading with her to come back over and we hear her crying uncontrollably. Thank God she was on the exit sign scaffolding and didn't go all way the over. As were calling 911 the man goes right over after her. The cops come eventually, they block off the freeway and after and hour or so the fire dept gets them both down with the fire truck ladder.

Sorry bout the sort of long story, but I just had to share. Never witnessed or had anything to do with something quite like that. Glad we were there at the time.

Thats crazy stuff. Glad she didn't go through with the suicide.

Have you ever seen that 20/20 Episode where a guy doing a documentary sets up a camera and films people jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge. Its crazy because you see people die and you see people chicken out and you see people talk people down.

Same thing happen to me a while back.

A man jumped from a bridge onto the freeway right as I passed.

It was something I will never forget, it affected me deeply seeing a human trying to kill themselfs.
