I don't care what the call is, and they haven't made it yet, but that was as boneheaded as it gets.

Royal is too good of a WR to be put on KR... we do need a bigger threat there though.

Agree. In terms of talent I think Royal is better and in terms of Charater there's nothing to compare. I think we are in a good direction drafting high character guys.

That was freakin' hilarious!

DeSean 0 Eddie 2 !
(and that's just this week!)

What an idiot.
I've never seen royal even do a freaky dance either!
Eddie Royal=Clutch 2 pt. conversion to win the game with 3 defenders on him...and laying in the endzone enjoying the moment...
DeSean Jackson=freaky dance then realizes he drops the ball before he gets to the endzone.
Tell me Bronco fans...who would you rather have?

If there was anything more moronic then Jackson showboating and throwing the ball away before he even reaches the endzone is the idiocy of the Cowboy defenders not even catching it and letting the ball sit there. Never the less, this puts and end to who is more valuable and the more intelligent player. Sorry Meshean fans, Ill take the guy we got every time. No CONTEST.

No doubt.

DeSean is a showboating loon far beyond what we want on this team.

well personally i'd take Royal...as most all of us here would...

but to DeSean's credit, he has back to back 100 yd receiving games to open the season...

i'm not sure anybody expected him to do that...

While I'm as much of a homer as anyone else on this board, I think the Royal / Jackson "who's better" argument is still too close to call.

Eddie Royal has already succeeded beyond our wildest dreams -- he was instrumental in both victories, and and has already proven that he's a clutch player who can make the big catch when the game is on the line -- twice! Also, he seems like a great teammate and role model as well.

On the other hand, DeSean Jackson is the first receiver in 68 years to have 100+ yards in each of his first two games. Also, he was pretty electrifying on returns in game one. On the down side, he looked like quite an idiot on the would-be touchdown last night -- so give the locker room edge to Royal for now.

The bigger question is -- why didn't we trade up/down for another 2nd round pick, so that we could have drafted them both? Now THAT would have been a coup.

Desean cost me my Fantasy Football game this week. I was playing again someone who had Westbrook, I had a huge lead, just needed Westbrook contained. That play gave Westbrook the chance for a 1 yd TD run, and I end up losing by one.

Anyway, Royal is the man. Jackson would be a third WR if not for injuries to the Eagles WR core.
