Didn't the government say the guy responsible offed himself? Kinda doubt it will turn out to be the real thing.

Hazmat Responds To McCain CO Campaign Headquarters
CENTENNIAL, Colo. (CBS4) ― A staffer at the John McCain for president campaign office in Centennial opened an envelope containing an unspecified threat and a white powdery substance on Thurday. The office building where the office is and a neighboring officer were evacuated Thursday afternoon at about 4 p.m., and FBI, Secret Service and local authorities responded to the scene, located at 6334 S. Racine Circle. "We immediately notified local and federal law enforcement agencies and are looking to cooperate with them," McCain spokesman Jeff Sadosky said. As many as twelve people were exposed to the substance, but no one apparently reported suffering any symptoms. Four or five people took themselves to a hospital to get checked out. Copter4 Hazmat crews entered the building shortly after 4:30 p.m. |

No, serious business indeed. But I suspect this will turn out to be a waste of manpower and resources thanks to a sick prankster...™

I hope it is that, because if it's real then we have a serious problem.

They also got a letter in his office on the east coast too. I know the PIO for South Metro, Andy Lyon from working with him while at Centennial. He said it tested positive for a protein. That could be anything including a typical protein shake.

Probably sent by some poor soul who lost their life savings in the Lincoln Savings and Loan scandal.

Sounds like the Denver letter is just a hoax from a bored prison inmate:

Are you kidding? The jews love McCain. They can't wait for him and Leiberman to get in the WH and start bombing Iran.
