Oh that...yeah, that got f'd up at work but I'm feelin fine. Dude, put the Allman brothers back on because I'm going to be asleep in about 10 minutes.

Anything that good just has to be kept under lock and key.

Freaking A, Spider. You just should rolled down to Hotrod's place and he would have fixed you up. You don't need to go to some quack, when good friend like Hotrod can pull that sucker with a pair of pliers and patch you up with the some duck tape.

I am sure if it hurt any, Hotrod would given you a little bit of PBR to kill the pain.

If it was a first class redneck operation then the Jack Daniels would be for the "doctor" and patient would get PBR

Nic try on smack but follow along. Morphine makes the pain go away hence what if I rub it on my wife (will she go away)? Never mind. If you have to explain a good joke on Simple Jack....

Ah the dreaded kidney stone. Mine was 15cm, biggest one they ever saw, and I never knew it was there. Took 3 laserings and then surgery to get it all. And I refused that damn stint after the first time. That was the worst part. Good luck on your next surgery, doesn't sound fun.

Sorry for the mess, Spider, but it sounds like you may be on the road to recovery....

Wimps and dental surgery.

When I was about 25, I had a wisdom tooth that went bad, and it hurt like holy h3ll. Went to a dentist who took X-rays (at that time X-rays were used much more indescriminently than they are now), and showed me the picture. The tooth had a root that curved up from the bone, and was hitting a nerve. He said he couldn't get it out, but I would need to an Oral Surgeon.

Well, I did. He looked at the picture, gave me a shot of 'Caine, and told me to open up. He dug around for a few minutes (I was not feeling a thing, not even my nose, jaw or whatever), and then got out a chisel and a small hammer. (I kid you not. They were stainless steel.) He had me make a fist and hold it under my jaw, and proceeded to put that chisel in my mouth over the tooth and he hit that sucker three times. He dug the pieces out, stopped the blood, stitched me up and charged me $50. Said to call if I had any problems.

Boys and girls, if I had any problems at all he wasn't going to know.

He got it out and the pain stopped after I slept off the 'Caine and four aspirins.

That was Oral Surgery 40 years ago. Now, it is much less challenging what with all the new drugs and tools......

Next I will tell you about my root canal.......

the only real funny part was I was too broad shouldered to fit into his machine to take pictures , so I had t stand at an awkward stance with my shoulders tucked in

I just had a Root Canal that went bad.

I have had about 4-6 of them, after the 1st 2 I found that it doesn't really hurt and I don't even take an Anti-inflamatory. However the last one I had 3 weeks ago got infected and it hurt like hell.

The 1st root canal I ever had also got infected but I waited to tell the Dentist as I wanted to go on our 1st anniversary trip. That was a mistake, I was miserable the whole time. When I did see him and took the penicillin my gums puffed up with puss just as bad as Spiders, Apparently the puss comes after you get the Antibiotic and just gets passed through your system.

I lost a friend who was in his 40's to a tooth infection. He didn't take care if it in time and it hit his brain. Sounds like the one you have is similar, Spider. That nasty infection is between your brain and your heart. Inches from your brain. Stay on it and don't let up. There is no room for error. No matter how bad an hombre you think you are, this thing has the teeth to take you out.
