Default Who needs to play well vs. GB to survive the first cuts?

To my understanding, the first batch of cuts will be due next week on August 26th as teams must trim their roster to 75 heading into the 4th and final preseason game. With that, which players need to have an impressive showing in Friday’s matchup with Green Bay to stake their case for sticking around? Keep in mind that usually the first cut date nets more veterans as team’s give them time to find another team. According to my count, the Broncos will need to cut four players. Here are some possibilities:

Michael Pittman – Ryan Torain’s injury helps his cause, but Pittman hasn't shown to be a true power back.

Montrae Holland - Reported overweight, OL is deeper than last year.

Keary Colbert – Signing bonus likely keeps him on the team, but has not had an impressive preseason.

Samie Parker – Not sure if he even saw action against Dallas, not a good sign.

Taylor Jacobs – Working on a few special teams units but he’s yet to make an impact.

Lorne Sam – Little-to-know playing time against Dallas and allowed a punt to be blocked.

Ebenezer Ekuban – Has been almost non-existent in two preseason games thus far and is working with the 3rd team.

Tyrone Poole – Struggled in his first preseason game at a position already 5-deep.

Vickiel Vaughn – Cleary there are five safeties in front of him, haven’t even seen him on special teams.

Both Colbert and Pittman look like poor choices IMO. I didn't like either signing.

Pittman and Holland will survive first round of cuts, Pittsman because of our lack of depth at RB and Holland because I still think Kuper could end up at RT.

Tyrone Poole will be gone, he was all over the place yesterday and failed to make a single play.

Taylor, Sam are all gone as well.

Larry Birdine, Wale Dada are also out.

We only have to cut down to 75 players by the 26th, so expect only the players who do not figure at all on the depth chart to be cut, younger players who could end up on PS will be kept for later.

I agree with most. Holland, Pittman, and Colbert are safe.

I can't imagine a situation where Holland gets cut. Kuper's the backup LG and RT. Holland would step into RG in that case.

I'll take a closer look at his game yesterday during the replay in the afternoon.

Guys like Padilla, Dada, Poole, Erickson, Jacobs, Sams, Vaughn, Parker, and McDaniel will be the first to go.

I got one for you though, watching for Carrington. Dude has very nice size and has been making a lot of plays in practice. He had another good game last night and he's been getting a few more reps lately. He could end up being a surprise keeper at DE for us.

I think the DL is enough of a question mark that theyll want to hang on to Ekuban. I could be wrong though as there is also cost to consider.
