I missed a few repeats of SportsCenter after watching most of the game on my cell phone by having a girl I know look at it as the plays were refreshed and give me updates while at work. So I missed the highlights a few times and have been awake way to long now to finally see the highlights. Nothing, it was 2 effing plays. **** ESPN, I hope my DVR is working by tomorrow so I can really see the game.
If anyone is in the DC area the game will be showed on NFLN at 10pm at Finn Mac Cools, 713 8th St Se...no drinks will be served during a play though. So pissed, I read the game day thread and was hoping for more than 20 seconds to see something. We should be the same team but change our name to the New York Football Yankees. We would be on TV all the time. |

Mike Phelps alone got more time than the entire game...same with Bonds.

stop whining and go to nfl.com, they have a 5 minute long highlight clip for each game.

I remember back when I lived out of the state...yeah that really sucked. But at least you didn't have to sit through the gameplay commentary of Gary Miller and Reggie Rivers and sterling TV coverage of Channel 4 Sports.

no joke! I was screaming for the first 20 minutes, every time a play started they had some graphic up there showing the offence or defense, and missed the first 3 seconds of every play! The whole thing was ridiculous.

Michael Phelps set a world Olympic record in addition to winning the gold for his whole country making him one of the greatest Olympians of all time. Of course that is more important than a stupid preseason game.

It got moved to 1:00AM Eastern...and my bar was not on TV our last health inspection was great 0 majors and 2 minors. You need 40 minors to shut down and 5 majors. The guy that owns it had more in his kitchen when he was the GM at a Ruth Chris.

If you were editing this for a general audience (iow, not specifically Denver Houston or NFL fans, there were only three plays that could be considered "highlights"). Those were the touchdowns by Cutler and Anderson and the interception by Ferguson. Everything else was moving the ball in short chunks that ended in field goals. If that game were, say, Falcons-Browns instead of Broncos-Texans, you'd think three plays out of pre-season game were enough.
On second thought, the Green injuries (both Greens) might make a highlight reel but not for reasons I'd care to remember. |

I'm surprised that they interrupted their 'round the clock Brett Favre coverage to show two plays.
