I just got back from Elitch Gardens today. It was a cool time to go as the overcast sky kept is moderately tolerable. When the rain came down later this evening we ducked into one of the shows they do there. Well they took my girlfriend up for a magic portion of the show and they saw her in half and split the parts apart. It was something you see all the time, but was cool because I knew the person. I kept asking her how her legs felt. All she said was it felt like they dropped down a little bit mid way through and one of the show girls was just staring at her.
Has anyone ever had someone be in a magic effect on stage? If you go to Elitches check out the show they run every two hours there. It's mostly a gymnastics stunt show (not Batman) but they do other stuff like magic in it. There's a few hours of on-season mode left, so this thread is legal. ![]() Last edited by Kaylore; 08-09-2008 at 12:21 AM.. |

My band used to play summers in the gazebo in the old Elitches.
We chopped up a few songs, but there was nothing magical about it m |

My sister had the same thing that happened to her too this summer at Elitches...She had no clue how they did it and said she could feel something press against her hand, so she moved it closer to her body and that was it. She had no clue what happened!

Very true. Six Flags had it for awhile, and then they sold it off to someone, who switched the name back to Elitch Gardens. Admission is like 10 bucks cheaper now too.

My wife got cut in half by JMFW. I told her not to make eye contact with him but she wouldn't listen.

I was gonna be crude but I'll refrain since Khan is a model citizen... as for watching someone I know on stage, yes I have. It was not a magic act though, it was a comedy act. He was hypnotized and it was probably the funniest thing I have ever seen. Take your girl to a comedy show on hypnosis night, that is a treat!
