Default Men's Health Jay Cutler Article

I just received my September issue of Men's Health Magazine and was thumbing through the pages and found an article about Jay Cutler. It's a short article that discusses his diabetes and discusses his four principles of perseverance.

Principle 1, Understand The Opposition

Principle 2, Grab Your Shot.

Principle 3, Play Above Your Pay Grade.

Principle 4, Never Play it Safe.

I like taking risks and all, but #4 concerns me a little. I mean, we don't need a "no mistake Jake-shanny mind control" performance every down, but shouldn't you play it safe sometimes and run out of bounds rather than hucking it to Djack in triple coverage?

Don't pay too much mind to the headlines -- they use the same ones repeatedly for these sorts of profiles. It doesn't mean anything specific to Jay.

That would be principle #5, eat plenty of oatmeal, whole grains, fiber, fruits, vegetables, stay away from over processed foods, bad fats and get plenty of exercise.

Play It Safe: He might be indicating that he will never play like his job is safe, get comfortable, and lose his competitive edge.
