Occasionally, however, Nate Jackson was lined up wide in Darrell Jackson’s position.

interesting. back to WR a lttile bit could be a cool look.

I'm a bit worried about Hillis.. right from a beginning they said it was a day to day decision..and now it's lingering since quite a few days.

Also very nice.. Jake MF Williams..

"Twice during practice Alridge caught a quick pass and bounced outside before the defense even knew what hit them. He had nothing but green ahead of him except for rookie Jack Williams both times, and twice after a few moves Williams made the great open-field tackle.

- Williams had one of his best practices today as well. Besides the two one-on-one tackles which garnered him praise from his coaches and teammates, one play stood out. Michael Pittman found a huge hole in the line and ran straight up the middle. Yes, the 6-foot, 225-pound, I-occasionally-line-up-at-fullback Michael Pittman. And Williams — who gives up three inches and 40 pounds to the running back — was waiting for him, laying a big hit that stood Pittman up and the play was blown dead. “I see you Jack!” was heard from pretty much all directions. As the next unit ran out onto the field, another gem was shouted: “Hey, give that man a medal for that!” "

Be careful. Jack MF Williams will strike you down if you get it wrong again.

I too am concerned that Hillis needs to be getting some reps in practice--I was hoping he could put some 'thump' back in our running game---I can only imagine that he lack of participation is wearing thin on the coaching staff

"Tom Nalen observed practice with a left knee…Dewayne Robertson was out of pads as well with a left knee."

And so it begins

Its nothing new. Hes been held out of at least one practice a week just as a precautionary measure.

Ugh, no it doesn't. He's been held out of practices as a precaution all year.

Now we know the truth... Nalen's left knee eye implant didn't take. His body rejected it, though I guess if he was able to "observe" practice he could at least see something out of his left knee/eye.

We're screwed if he can't get it to work, though I must say genetic research has come a long way to have even attempted this type of procedure.

What's next?

Let's hope that it's the same effect that BMarsh had last year with the quad injury. But seriously, you're right Hillis needs the practice time

This is concerning:

Nate Webster continued to play with the starting defense while Niko Koutouvides worked as his backup.

We need a MLB who won't over persue and can make a tackle without his helmet popping off ever time.

I sure hope Boss pans out!

Maybe, but it would worry me more if these guys were unproven. Nalen can come in and play w/minimal practice and he knows it. At 37, how much training camp does he want to push himself through if he's dinged? My money says that if there's a game tomorrow, he plays and plays at a high level. I'm guessing Robertson would too.

Why don't you tell us how many games Robertson has missed because of that left knee each of the last 3 years? Because you're clearly an expert and all.

0?

I know he missed a couple of games, but I don't think it was because of his knee...

I fully expect to read a report that says "Nalen observed practice without a left knee. Apparently the Knee and him are on bad terms. Hamza observed without a groin as it had left practice early to get some Chipotle. Hamza's Groin may be suspended the first preseason game."

They regularly hold him out to keep his knee fresh. He hasn't missed a game due to his knee. His games missed were due to a thigh bruise.

Just mention "Apple Mac's, Jake, or SOB" in your next post and the thread will go 16 more pages with the keywords: "Pretty, Moxie, or Fault" found in all of the following posts spawned from the ensuing panic.
