Default Lebron to Europe?

Doubt it, but interesting question. Seems like he's trying hard to create some wiggle room with the NBA cap. It would be a catastrophe if he left, not just for the NBA for the American sports psyche really.

Well, the NBA has a salary cap and Europe doesnt. If one of these greek or russian teams offer him 40 million Euros a year, well, thats not something you can bat an eye at.

I thought the most understated sports story of the year was Josh Childress (a very effective 6th man) going to play in Greece.

Do I honestly think Lebron will go? No ... but its not the crazies thing in the world

I hope he goes.

Maybe it will help the NBA realize that their tainted product needs alot of work. Starting with the removal of that crook David Stern.

living in cleveland (i know i know it sucks) you cant get through the day without hearing lebrons name 10 times. That being said.......i can't stand the guy personally......i think he is severely overrated. You could take an average player in the league and let him take 35 shots and he will average 30 ppg as well. And whats up with that stupid thing he always does.....where he sits there and dribbles all the time off the clock and then jumps back for a fade away 3 with a defender right in front of him. I swear he only makes 1 outta every 10 of those.... let mike brown keeps letting him shoot those all the time!

that all being said......obviously this shows you where his priorities are.......he doesnt care about winning championships, he cares about the money. With the excption of tiger woods.....lebrons makes the most money of any athelete.......and hes willing to go play in europe for more money Talk about forgetting where you came from, and the fact you should be counting your blessings everynight that you are lucky enough to be getting paid millions of dollars to play a game.

maybe he could afford to have someone b**** slap him everytime he gets caught biting his fingernails on tv.

The guy shoots 48% from the field. The average player at his position doesn't shoot 48%. So the average player wouldn't score as much if he shot as much as LeBron.

LeBron is as good as advertised.

He's not a jump shooter. The great thing about him is that he can take it to the hole and score. It's smart for him not to take a lot of jumpers and get to the basket.

Did no one see King James nail half court three's all last year?

Who said he cant shoot isnt very intelligent. That dude shoots from anywhere on the court. Just so happens he can take it to the hole better than anyone else on the court and NO ONE can stop him so why bother?

I lost a lot of interest in the NBA when Bird/Magic/Jordan left the league but if I was his agent I'd tell him to grab 80,000,000 Euros and then buy a darn team or maybe even Ohio.

I haven't bought a pair of basketball shows since like high school. I don't play basketball, and think it looks like of silly walking around wearing them when a person is dressed causal. Basketball shoes and jeans has always been weird to me.

This is retarded. Lebron is the best player in the game, if you ask me. Yes, his J isnt perfect yet, but either was Jordan's at this age. The guy can flat out dominate in any facet of the game. He's amazing.

This also reminds me of that horrible comment you used to hear about shaq "all he can do is dunk" Morons. The big fella put up 30 ppg...just dunking, right.

yea anyone who thinks Lebron aint superman DID NOT see that Pistons game 5 , 29 of the Cavs last 30 .. 25 in a row ... and you see some UNREAL jump shooting in that video ... And just like SonofLe said ... just wait till Lebron gets a few years under his belt like Jordan and perfects that little back down step back fade ... Later in life that was the move M.J. killed people with ... Lebron at 23 is better than 23 year old M.J. period ...
So we could be going to see something WAY speical ...

I hated M.J. for the record "Pacers/Reggie fan" that don't mean M.J. wasn't the BOMB ...
