Thanks, Im ready for another season

1st...LT

You have to go with the steady eddie. AP is the flashy pick, could go for 2k, could go out for the season in week 2.

The first 6 picks I've seen lately are LT, AP, Steven Jackson, Westbrook, Brady and then either Barber, Addai or Moss.

I'd go with the top RB with the first pick.

Tomlinson or Peterson.

Tomlinson. I doubt Peterson will ever play a full season.

it really depends how the scoring works in your league...Brady was the best point getter in my league last year...i'd look at that

And make sure to grab a leaper at WR(TO, Plaxico Burress, Braylon Edwards, Marques Colston, a healthy Brandon Marshall). Double Digit TDs are awesome.

With Turner out and LT talking about this year they're going to do a lot of short passes to the HBs, I can't help but think this will be either a career year for LT or he doesn't make it past like week 6 before he's dinged and having to milk it the rest of the way. Unfortunately, I'm leaning towards him being injured but there's no way I'll take AP again, especially not at #1. LT, hesitantly, has to be the #1, I think.

www.fantasyfootballcalculator.com has archived mock drafts, as well as average draft position charts for anywhere from 8 to 14 team leagues. There's no IDP leagues, though. Plus, the only format the site drafts for is QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, DEF, K. Those are really the only negatives, though. Every other mock site makes you register or pay, and there's a limit to how many free mocks you can do. FFC is free, and there's a new mock every two minutes or so.

No problem on the advice, 1st pick is a tough one this year, that's for sure. At the 6 spot, I definitely favor Barber or Brady, but I rarely take a QB early, and it's difficult to predict Brady matching last years numbers.

LT is on the backend of his career, I usually take a RB 1st, so I would go with AP, and he plays in a weak conference. Middle of the 1st is when I would take Brady or Manning.

AP killed me with 300 yd days against the Chargers but 30 yd days against the Broncos. That's why I say I'd never ride that ride again and he was great value in the late rounds for me last year. Injuries and inconsistency will kill a team when it comes time for a must win.

I always take a RB first and before last year got LT and loved him. But was very thankful last year not to get him and I don't know that I'd take him this year either being dinged and having Neal gone. I'm really debating who the top one is. Peterson was great with his 300 yd games but theres the injury thing. I'm probably looking at Barber.

Do you really think Barber is worth a top 10 with Felix Jones there? I don't know much about Felix but you don't just sit a 1st round RB. Top 10 picks are for guys that will carry your team and a RBBC option is not going to carry your team.

Yeah I do. Jones is a rookie and will come in to spare Barber. Had Barber in 3 of my leagues last year and got consistent points from him. People laughed at me last year as Julius was listed as their starter. But he had been pathetic as far as being consistent. Barber was waiting to break out....and did.
