Default Ryan Clady Signed.

The Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with offensive tackle Ryan Clady, the team’s first-round pick in the 2008 draft.

According to Adam Schefter of NFL Network, Clady signed a five-year deal worth $17.5 million, with $11.5 million in guaranteed money.

Clady was the 12th overall selection.

The post is reporting that it's a six-year deal worth $11M in guarantees, and that Clady can void after 5 if he reaches playing times incentives.

http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_9994290

Which most likely amounts to a five year deal.

While I can't read Captain Obvious, let me guess what she said.

Yes. In 20 years we've had one guy late and it was because he broke the slotting arrangement. Broncos always have their guys in on time.

Compare that to places like KC who never have picks in on time. Dorsey is holding out. Of course according to KC fans it's "always the agent" and has nothing to do with poor Carl Peterson who must just be unlucky enough to draft all the players who have jerk agents every year. Gosh darn it.

Branden Albert was on time. Although according to you that won't matter because the player you liked before the draft is now going to be a bust in your opinion.

They didn't need to make any more cuts. Those 2 last week were all that were needed to get the whole group down to 80.

We liked Brandon Albert, sure. As a guard. Which he is.

Did you ever watch UVA games the last few years? I think Albert is a stud OG but I don't think he is good enough to be a stud LT. Of course I also have questions about Clady....

I thought Mike Bell and Garrett Hartley were cut to make room for Peyton Hillis and Jack MoFo Williams.

I never saw waivers to open up spots for Royal and Clady, though ...

That was a lot of people's assumptions. In fact, the Broncos had 77 players under contract with 5 draft picks still to sign. Two were needed to be released to make room for all 5.

Rather than waiting, they cut those guys loose to give them a chance to make a squad before other teams' training camps.
