It must've helped Hamilton to have a 70+ yr. old throwing the pitches to him. Certainly would've helped his story line if he won the thing.....too bad.

Even the cynic in me has to agree that he touched off some impressive shots....too bad they didn't let Nate McLouth into the fray, I was disappointed with that.

One word: BORING.

I feel for Berman and others trying like hell to make this circle jerk interesting. I'm not sure if that speaks more to the uneventful event itself or to their willingness to pander and slobber over this farce. I put this thing on par with pro bowling, cept with no passion, no flare, and no beer.
