I'm voting third party because the main parties do not represent me nor my interests. I've heard the "Hey tim, you should just stay home. Your vote is a waste" argument and personally I think its bs. I am now 18 and can finally vote and I intend on voting for the candidate who best represents me.

I did not add in write in because in most states they are not counted, so that is actually a "wasted vote".

Right now, "staying home" is leading!

Myself, I'm voting for Elway. He has nothing better to do and he'd probably do it better than the actual candidates.

I'm glad that you find Americans being so apathetic about their candidates of choice as humorous.

How can any pole like that not have the undecided option?

I would have loved to have seen the results of that pole, because those people that voted I am staying home are cowards who should not be allowed to b*tch about anything in politics since they are not doing something about it by voting.

If you dont vote, then don't complain about anything, period.

You have a very good point.

Can we get a mod in here to add undecided to the poll please? Or would it be better just to start a new poll with undecided on it?

Everyone should vote. Even if it is for a 3rd party.

As far as McSame is concerned you need to see who his running mate is because that will be the person who end up being president before the end of McSame's first term.

"Not voting" is never a choice for me, but I don't know if I can bring myself to vote for McCain. I CERTAINLY am not going to vote for Obama. I might check out this Bob Barr character...

I reject that argument. None of the remaining choices are acceptable. I'll still vote down-ballot but I probably won't be voting for president because they'll each **** us over in their own different ways.

If you were given the choice to vote between imbibing arsenic, cyanide or sulfuric acid, which gets your vote? And how would you feel if I told you that if you don't vote, you're somehow not doing your patriotic duty by imbibing one of the three choices?
