OT: Borat (Sacha Baron Cohen) at it Again - The Orange Mane

For his follow up to Borat, the comedian Sacha Baron Cohen (spelling might be wrong) is using his homosexual character “Bruno” to expose America’s homophobia.

Apparently he put posters, online postings and started a website promoting a mixed martial arts match at a large Arkansas bar, and said there would be $1 beers there. After checking IDs and having the patrons sign a release the ruse began. After 3 lackluster amateur bouts two combatants, one of them Cohen, entered the ring. After a few moments of fake fighting the two men ripped off each others clothes and began kissing each others chests and necks.

Apparently the Arkansans were NOT HAPPY. Some threw chairs and most of the $1 beers ended up in the ring.

Haha…that character is definitely the worst he does, but with stunts like this it could be funny…..

The funniest thing was Cohen getting wacked by some dude he insulted in NY while acting like Borat.

I read he was so scared he curled into a little ball and the dude from the show House had to rescue him.

Depends on where in Arkansas that happened because in some places he may have been killed (or seriously beaten) for a stunt like that.

Cohen and his confederates organized cage fighting programs on consecutive days in Texarkana and Fort Smith. Both cards ended with two male grapplers (one was identified as "Straight Dave" and wore camouflage) tearing each other's clothes off and, while in underwear, kissing down their opponent's chest. This man-on-man action triggered Fort Smith fans to throw chairs and beer at the ring, according to one cop present at the city's Convention Center. The June 5 Texarkana promotion was adverstised as "Red, White, and Blood." The June 6 matches in Fort Smith were dubbed "Blue Collar Brawlin'" as seen in the below poster. Ads on Craigslist--like this one--noted that attendees had to be over 21 and suggested that fans arrive early "for $1 BEERS!" Cohen & Co. underwrote the cost of beer, which usually sells for $4 at the Fort Smith facility. "Blue Collar Brawlin'" drew about 1500 fans, who were greeted by signs stating that the event was being filmed. Attendees were also not allowed in with cameras or cell phones and some were asked to sign releases. The "Blue Collar Brawlin'" web site (fortsmithfight.com) was registered two weeks before the event in the name of "Peto Philer" of Algeria. The site, which remains live but has been stripped of all content, appears to be currently hosted on servers in Los Angeles. (4 pages)

He was walking down the street with Hugh Laurie (House) not dressed as Borat after a taping of SNL and some guy (who was drunk) attacked him with no provocation and Hugh Laurie pulled the guy off of Sacha Cohen.

The guy must be so tough to randomly attack a celebrity walking down the street. Lets hope next time Borat is killed, or the terrorists will have won! USA! USA!!!

BORAT star Sacha Baron Cohen was beaten up by a passer-by after he tried to play a prank as his alter ego.
He approached the man and said: “I like your clothings. Are nice! Please may I buying? I want have sex with it.”

But the bystander didn’t see the joke. He took one look at Cohen and punched him in the face.

The funnyman — known for his Borat catchphrase “Jagshemash!” — yelled for help but was slugged again and again.

He was rescued by actor pal Hugh Laurie who had been on his way to a New York bar with Cohen.

Laurie rushed to help and pushed the man away as Cohen struggled to his feet. A pal of Cohen said: “Sacha couldn’t resist playing the fool as Borat, but picked on the wrong person.

“I guess this guy thought he was being attacked by someone unstable and lashed out. Sacha is very lucky he didn’t get a much worse beating.”

The incident took place after Laurie and Cohen appeared on the US TV show Saturday Night Live. The Brit comics were on their way to a late dinner when Laurie suggested they visit a bar in Manhattan.

Laurie, 47, told friends he feared Cohen was going to get badly beaten up. Luckily, 35-year-old Cohen did not receive any lasting scars.

Studio chiefs have warned Cohen to avoid pretending to be the spoof Kazakhstan TV reporter on the streets. Since the film was launched he has only appeared in character while promoting the movie on American television shows.

I think him getting beat up is still the funniest **** he's done. I mean that's what he's going for and that's what he got. That's what makes America so great. Go looking for it and you will probably find it.

My other point is Cohen is obviously a wimp and punk that doesn't even fight back when he get's slapped around. Ahhhhhh yes very unamerican, very european.
