The thought of the sound of the drill makes my mouth hurt. It is like scraping your fingernails on a chalkboard. It is just unpleasant!

Yeah...I was surprised you could have a sore throat and ear pain too. UGH.
It's swollen on my neck even. My cheeks are so swollen that it's too easy to bite the inside of them From what I've read all of this is normal.

Yep..ear,nose & throat.... all related. Your neck glands are swollen because their fighting infection. Yeah stick to liquids for a while.

He never gave me an antibiotic though...just vicodin...which, honestly, doesn't seem to be doing crap. If the swelling isn't better by Monday, I'll call. It says 3-4 days of swelling is possible.

I'm really surprised he didn't give you an antibiotic for this procedure
And vicodin for some people doesn't work, you could ask him to change the meds. if your still in pain.

They also told me I could take advil 2 hours after the vicodin. Oh well, I don't feel horrible...just not great. If it doesn't improve by monday I'll give them a call. But it only has been two days and they took all four so I'm sure I won't be feeling great right away.

Be sure to keep taken the ibuprofen it really helps with the inflammation & pain.
