work has been busy - getting settled in at home - had to delay the magazine (boo!)

lots of other things going on as well....

But i woke up on a beach for a week straight, i have been stuck in the rain for days at a time... I shared sandwiches with hard luck people, crazy people, and lost people....

I've played drums with the krishna's, i've made a fire out of busted up pallets and slept along the water....

I've woken up with nothing more than the day, and in those moments is when i found out who and what i am...which is always changing.

Even right now, i'm bored with where i'm at and who i am. I feel like whenever you become repeated, dull, to where you are a caricature of yourself is when it's time for change.

Change is good...for the most part. I really want to go back to Colorado but all my kids and grands are here.

Yep, all three of them are making babies and raising their families. My mom is here as well so I won't go anywhere as long as she is still with us.

I've moved away a few times from my moms - and i told her it could happen again. She gets sad, but she knows that i love her and whatnot. But she's also cool enough to understand, and doesn't guilt me into staying.

Well, my mom is in the early stages of Alzheimers and she probably would not know that I am gone except I go have lunch with her everyday to try and keep her mind active.

Well, AmesJ, you have to take the good with the bad. Never settle, but sometimes you have to compromise!

Did anyone see the Sugarland performance on SoundStage last week. The lead singer is awesome, something really sexy about her and she can sing!

Thanks for everyone wishing my great grandpa good luck. He seemed to actually be doing well when we arrived. Shortly after leaving though he went back to his decreasing state. Still is doing much better than he should be.

It was busy but good Here. I had to work Saturday (yet again). I was at work at 1:30 AM EST for a 12 hour job. It messed up my sleep schedule for the rest of the weekend, but I still managed to plant some dune grass in the yard, layout tiling for the kitchen, completely clean and redecorate the aquarium, cook two (as close as I can get to) gourmet meals, and run out shopping with a teenager and a shoe-a-holic. Very productive weekend, but I gotta remember to set aside some beer time for myself next weekend.

Play is good on the weekend...working weekends is bad! Although I have done that many times myself.
