OT- How do I change a video length?
I posted this on Yahoo Answers but haven't gotten any responses so I figured I'd see if anyone here knew.
I downloaded some videos but quite a few are large files and WMP treats them like they're only 10 or 15 seconds long. Once the progress bar reaches the end, the video messes up yet if I click an area on the progress bar, it plays the video from where I clicked. So, for example, a 20 minute video might only play 10 seconds if that's all WMP is recognizing it to be. If I click a quarter of the way through the progress bar, it might start playing at the 5:00 mark for 10 seconds. If I click halfway on the progress bar, it goes to 10:00 mark and plays fine for 10 seconds. How do I change the data to recognize that it's a 20 minute movie so it'll play all the way through? I tried downloading a seperate video player and I tried putting it into windows movie maker to see if there was anything I could edit.
And to preempt the moral police, lets assume these are all open, freely distributed music videos. I would never download music videos that I did not rightfully own yada yada...
