Default Conservatives hate Wall-E

Wtf?

http://thinkprogress.org/2008/07/01/...-hates-wall-e/

I realize its a liberal site, but its well cited. I guess I just find it shocking that folks are against ANY environmentalism these days.

Ahh the right cracks me up. Always this secrecy and fear of admitting any wrongdoing.

Yeah let's not teach our kids that we are polluting our planet. Let's teach them that everything is hunky dorey and if anyone says differently than they're communist liberals that want to ruin our economy.

Stay the course!

Who cares the left was upset about Lion King, The right didn't like Golden Compass blah blah blah. IMO nobody even cares about these movies and reporters just need something to write about.

Greg Pollowitz: It was like a 90-minute lecture on the dangers of over consumption, big corporations, and the destruction of the environment. …

Yeah! What could be wrong with that?

Wall-E is entertaining. It's the best movie Pixar has ever made to date. It's a masterpiece in animation. Anybody with a stick up their ass will be blind to the amazing quality of animation, production, and incredibly adorable love story. They don't deserve this movie. ****ing idiots.

I love the comment about how it's an anti Bush left wing rage movie. Wall-E was conceptualized before Toy Story was even finished with production (early to mid 90's). Yes, that's right. Wall-E was conceived during the economic conditions of the 90's and the Clinton administration.
