Who will win the Adrian Madise Award? - The Orange Mane

Who will win the annual Adrian Madise Award....given to the player who the media and coaches blow bang continuously in mini-camp and training camp, who then proceeds to do absolutely nothing when the season starts.

I am also taking nominations for past winners. Please include the year.

In keeping with the WR tradition, I'll go with Keary Colbert.

(I have a feeling Josh Barrett will be a close second. God help us if he makes a few good hits in the pre-season....people here will be all over his jock worse than they already are)

Great thread. It generally seems to be a WR and while I think he'll contribute on special teams, I anticipate hearing a whole lot about Eddie Royal's WR skills (in fact, it already started in OTA's) but I'm not expecting much of anything from him offensively.

I was thinking about him as well, but they have so little invested in him compared to all the others at his position that he'd have to REALLY light it up in the camps just to make it through the first wave of cuts IMO. I just can't see him even making the final roster, unless Marshall's arm never fully heals.

ran back a few kicks late in the season for the Giants, was helping them with field position all playoffs and won a ring

seems like perhaps he should be in a different category....like guys we cut too early or something
