To be honest, I know I've felt the way his PM feels a handful of times around here ... most recently a couple days ago when a guy I thought was a pal came into the 'Weight Loss' thread and said, "here's something for you fat@sses."

Bad manners? say, as opposed to making physical threats via a PM? You cannot be serious and quite frankly I expect more from a reasonable person who has the analytical and rationalizing capabilities to obtain a JD. His threat to cause personal harm, combined with a denegration of one of the Bronco's most beloved symbols of fanhood, Barrelman, deserves the eyes of all on this board.Set your personal bias aside....

"Recourse" does not necessarily mean violence ... and again, his PM seems kinda tame, really. I've seen far more plainly stated threats of violence in open posts around here. Sure, it's wrong to even hint at violence, but a decade on the Internet, and this really bothers you? It's pretty well accepted that poeple say things on their keyboard that they wouldn't say in person ... and not because they're "keyboard cowboys," but because communication is skewed in this context, and hyperbole often extends into bad manners. It's a well-documented human dynamic.

The idea that you're "greatly offended," or "feel threatened" by that PM says to me you're kinda hyper-sensitive. You don't really believe that if you met TGN in person somewhere that he'd wanna throw down, do ya? After 30 seconds you guys would be arguing over who was gonna buy the first beer.

I wont argue anyone on here can buy me a beer. Well maybe a couple people I would decline but thats a different story.
