Default Former Broncos RB Mike Anderson Suspended

The Sports XChange is reporting that Mike Anderson has been suspended for a year, as well as former Charger OT Shane Olivea. No specific reason was given, although the report speculates it stems from Anderson's 4-game suspension for breaking the league's substance abuse policy in 2003.

Maybe he can get Shanny to give him a lie detector.

I really hope he gets his life in order. I thought he was the real deal, hate it when people misrepresent themselves. He came out talking about being the good Marine, his actions fall way short of that...

Well, some of us like to watch a game over a cool one, and others like to suck smoke . . .

He was a great player for us. I'll always hold him in high esteem.

Silly to see him go out this way, but it sounds like he's pretty addicted to that "non-addictive" weed.

Sort of a bummer, but it's not like he was spawning illegitimate kids or running over his wife with his SUV. So, by NFL standards... he's still a pretty good guy.

Whats sad is he is very unassuming and a lunch pail kind of player. I always wonder why a player can go out and spay champagne on people and get wasted drinking. But a puff on mary jane and see you later. Its not performance enhancing and in Henry's case its a public service.

Oh well its too bad, he had a cool stor with how he got to the NFL.
