OK, any sane person who goes for the club scene is obviously trying to live in the moment, be distracted...............All I know is if my boy died in my arms after playing the fool at a club, the last place I would run to is Vegas and live that life over, put yourself in that same situation, over and over...........
D-Will is gone, obviously he really learned his lessons........... scumbag 4 life |

Javon thinks Javon is a Flava Clown. I am so glad he is playing for and embarrassing the faiders now and not us.

Freud called it the "repetition compulsion." When difficult or painful events happen in life that are out of our ability to control, it's really common to see people put themselves into the same position over and over again. Each time they're hoping on a subconscious level to do SOMEthing differently so the outcome will be better and the leftover issue will be resolved. It's the compulsion that says "THIS time I can do it right" or "I can handle it better this time." There are examples all around, especially in relationships. Like the woman who always find the loser boyfriends who will beat her down, and she goes from one to the next. Or like the guy who seems to have his act together but keeps finding gold-diggers (male or female) who clean out his bank account and take him for everything he's worth. (If heterosexual, this guy usually ends up married and divorced about a half-dozen times.) It's the same compulsion that is at the core of addictions like gambling, that don't involve actual chemicals. "This time I can win... this time my luck will hold..." I figure that Javon is far more to be pitied than scorned. One definition of insanity lies in doing the same things over and over, while hoping for a different outcome. Regards, m. |

I'm surprised at how quick everyone has been to jump on Javon once he left town. I have nothing but sympathy for him and think it's pretty presumptuous for everyone to come down so hard on him for this. He was robbed! And got put in the ER!
I wouldn't mind seeing Oakland lose every game next season, but I still wish Javon the best because I enjoyed having him in Denver (that belt he carried around for DW and Nash last season was incredible!) and I don't blame anybody for looking out for themselves in the NFL. I guess I can understand people wanting his career to end badly since he didn’t leave Denver on great terms, but all this stuff about him deserving to be laid out unconscious is going a little too far I think. |
