It's funny. The thing I thought was boldest was where you said 12-4 gets us home field advantage throughout the playoffs...Then I snapped out of it.

If Selvin makes his 2,000 yards and BMarsh makes his 100 catches, don't bet against it.

Of course, I wouldn't bet against the Broncos, anyway.

my predictions for the season

1)12-4 tied and AFC West Champ.

2)1st round bye as the number 2 seed behind Indianapolis.

3)Denver will sweep the Chiefs and Raiders and split with San Diego

4)Denver will play San Diego in Mile High in the divisional round of the playoffs and win!

5)Denver will play Indy in the AFC Championship game and win in a tight game that will be decided by a late game drive led by Jay Cutler.

6)Denver will play Dallas in the Super Bowl and win a tight game with Jay being named MVP.

7)Denver will send Jay, Marshall, Scheff, Niko, DJ, Champ, Dumervil, and Lynch to the Pro Bowl

8)All people who said Denver would finish no better than 8-8 will all change tunes and say they new Denver was going to be great

Denver will not need a punter this year. Shanny will just keep an extra RB or WR on the team and say he's a punter since that position won't be needed this year, and it is league rules to have a punter on the roster.

I like your optimism, and I don't think that is an unrealistic one, but the Broncos are a year away from serious SB contention I believe, just based on the DL and OL truly gelling.

10-6, WC berth, the team that "no one wants to play" in the playoffs

Cutler goes for 3700 yards, 25/12 td/int
Young goes for 1200 yards, 10 td
Marshall 1500 yards, 12 td

Most importantly: pace of the game is once again controlled more often than not by the running game and offensive line play of the Broncos. Cutler has more time, makes less mistakes. Bootlegs based on the once again successful running game give the ability to go deep on any play.

I think the defense has been improved overall, tackling should be better, DL will have more to say during the course of a game. But.

If the OL is improved, this team will be good. End of story. Shanahan's philosophy depends on dominant OL play. If he gets that, look the **** out.
