Is anyone else amused at the endless flow of fluff pieces talking up various players on the team? Its amazing how quickly some of these stories are forgotten when the season starts and people realize that being impressive in June and being impressive in September are worlds apart.

It's not all positive; I just read somewhere that Brandon Marshall eats babies for breakfast.

I remember they did a Q&A a few years ago during June with the man who manages the turf on Invesco field.

WTF...I don't remember that. BTW, I'm just counting down the days for the following two articles: 1) Tuten's Sled 2) We're letting the DL loose this year.

Per the original post, I think the best part of the off-season is the nation-wide optimism that sweeps through the fans.
It's like you're a kid again waiting for Christmas. |

This is the only part of the year where Football isn't stressful. It's nice to sit back and get caught up in hopes and dreams. |

Everything is better with the new car smell and a nice shiny sheen on it...it's all fresh again and the potential for great things to happen comes with no limits this time of year...The veiw of a better orange and blue dominates the landscape for me as i'm full of homeristic optimism...GO BRONCOS!!! and keep those fluff peices coming..

Generally I agree that people imagine their team is going to work out in all ways, but I'd say in Broncoland there is a general gloom this offseason. I think a lot of people nationally and locally don't think we'll be very good. I think we'll be much better than people think, but I would say expectations are lower across the board than they were last time this year.

Tuten's sled always is a hot item. WE GET IT! His sled is hard to push! As for the "D-line being let loose" that's a myth. They only really said that one year. |

Could be worse. We could have stories of hold-outs, and players who are "secretly" upset about their contracts.
