What's the story with this guy? I know the Pats released him....is there any reason why Denver is not taking a look here? They can't be all that set with Pat Fisher, Sam Paulescu, Danny Baugher, Brett Kern and Anubis.

Anyways... Theirs gotta be something up with this Drago guy, he must of been one of the first rookies cut so far.

If you guys watch the Discovery channel series "When we left the earth" It goes into great detail about Anubis drop kicking footballs and taking Soviet cosmonauts outta orbit. Unlike in Dove Valley where he is revered and loved, Anubis is not liked very much in the east, and he is considered a "traitor" to the socialist/marxist way.

Why bring him in with Anubis on the team? It'd be a waste of money. I also suspect if they released him that soon, then he probably sucked pretty bad.

True... I'd like to make a more educated decision on the situation... but I honestly know nothing about the punter they brought in when Sauerbrun came back...

I'm actually pretty sure he never saw the field before the Superbowl with Bill running up the score every Sunday.

That's actually a good point. If you never have to punt then it's not high on your priorities list. This might mean Drago sucks really bad. I mean if you're not worth keeping around even just up to training camp then you're dog-doo. No offense to Drago.

That's why Drago chose NE initially...he was scared of competing with Anubis. Anubis would have broke his will to live about 3 minutes into the first minicamp.

Exactly why I posed the question....he was highly touted here by some during the draft, so to be shipped out of NE so quickly, I was wondering what was up (like maybe he didn't suck but succumbed to some off the field drama or something). I see he's playing in the Under Armour Senior Bowl, maybe answers will come then.
