How is Obama going to magically increase supply and decrease demand (especially in China) if he takes office?

I am just not going to discuss anything with you anymore. You are obviously not house broken, uneducated, and it's no wonder you can't keep a job. Good luck, kid. You are going to need it.

I'll pray for you

It's not a supply and demand issue... it is a speculation issue combined with a conspiracy to hide and or restrict the natural resourses that are available to us already! This entire debacle started in 1973

Some estimates put the 'speculation' cost at between $30-$40 a barrel.

This is incorrect. Gas we buy now is based on oil prices from the last few weeks to the present, depending upon what part of the country you are in and supply. It's real easy to verify, just look at the the gas price charts for the last few months compared to the oil price charts for the same time period.

Obama won't do anything and neither will McCain...the United States is at the mercy of foreign oil. I don't know the exact percentage, but a good majority of our oil comes from overseas. Bush went to Saudi Arabia and they rejected his plea to increase production, and I don't see Obama changing their minds either.

Secondly, Obama isn't going to go for drilling for Oil here in America, he is another global warming nutjob.

That's peanuts compared to the big picture. United States spends more than a billion dollars a day on foreign oil. Shale oil is extremely hard and complicated to get oil out of, that's why it's not done on a large scale.

I have not seen the this operation performed , this is word from the grapevine type of stuff , But Schlumberger is doing some experimental stuff with Co2 injections and Shale oil , from what I understand the Co2 method is more efficient , faster .. But I have not seen the this type of operation . I have seen Co2 injections into a tired patch , but not shale

Suppose the "Enron loophole" is closed. How does that increase supply and decrease demand?

We cannot "drill our way out".

We need to accept higher costs for oil and gasoline, and work on freeing transport from its use of them.

Persisting in following the same ****ty habits that got us to where we are now is stupidity defined. No wonder you want us to keep doing the same thing.
