Lot of guys I still like for us out there. Jalen Parmele, Chad Simpson, Chauncey Washington, Tony Temple, some solid talent to still work with out there.

I agree. We needed to get one of the top running backs. I think this shows we are going to try and sign Shaun Alexander.

I don't see RB as that big of a need as others make it out to be. Henry was the leading rusher or right up there before he got banged up and his legal battle and Young is a good change of pace back. Now Henry has a year in the system and should come in fully healthy and his mind is now free of all his legal issues so I don't think it's that bad.
If Shanahan isn't happy with our RB situation I would hope he would draft one instead of signing Shaun Alexander which is the rumor out there. |

Whats a top running back? Some piece of meat you throw in the Denver system for a few years untill his body breaks down and we send him away?
We've got plenty of RBs, RBs are useless to us, don't mind me, I make this speech every year. Unless there's another Terrell Davis on the board and shanny finds him in the 4th - 6th, I don't see a need to even bring the position up for talk. |

Aww, did lexy have a man crush on the track runner, Jamaal Charles? He's the first mistake of the Chiefs draft so far. Chicken legged fumbler.

RunningBack is a need, however this year I think we have bigger holes to fill. I'm cool with them skipping a RB altogether and focusing on those other areas. Were we supposed to trade up for Jamaal Charles?

We need a O-Line... So getting a potentially great left OT and one that fits well in our system was a great pick. I'm still only OK with the Royal pick. But... not picking a top running back I'm ok with. If we can get a great line again then I think we can rely on shanny magic in a late round RB. But it all starts with the line.

Oh no! Now we'll have to rely on Travis Henry, Selvn Young, Mike Bell and Andre Hall!
NOOOOOOOOOOO! I love it. Everyone and their mom knows that our O-Line was pathetic last year(and that was the problem with the pass game) but it's the Backs' fault that our Running Game could'nt get started?!? |

We get good production out of our line and our running game will be best in the AFCW, no matter who is toting the rock for us. |

Yea, i kept saying RB wasnt a big need this year but OH so many people disagreed and said we would go Mendenhall at 12. Our backs will be fine for at least this year as long as we fix the other areas of need. The world is not ending because we didnt get a "supposed" back for the future.

Let me think about this a second. Everyone and their sister agrees that the Broncos draft RB talent down round better then anyone else. We also just cut Travis Henry's contract, and have two promising rookies in Andre Hall and Selvin Young. And you are complaining that we work on our O-Line and D-Line in the offseason.
Sheesh. You can never satisfy some people. |

No, its not just that. Its Shanahan forgoing a real opportunity to improve the team on offense because of a two year fixation with Hester and a wasted draft choice on Javon Walker.
