I think the Broncos have spent enough money on free agents at the end of thier career who don't produce any more.

Larry Johnson followed Alexanders model.

first get paid, then get hurt.

no thanks. he was getting WAY outplayed by his backup last year.

If signing him for a decent amount(2 Mil a Year) means we don't spend a Day 1 pick on a RB, I'm fine with it.

Could always sign him for the min and give him an incentive laden contract, that worked with henry right.

Alexander, whatever.

But if Anquan Boldin becomes available I'm going to cry at having Darrell Jackson. Hell I'm crying anyway.

I think that Beantown Bronco nipped that in the bud in the previous thread (much to his credit) by making the 2nd post in the thread a threat to neg rep anyone suggesting the signing of Alexander.

Does anyone know the cap hit Seattle is taking on this? IIRC, his deal was setup that he needed to play out at least 3 years of it before it became beneficial for Seattle to cut him. Since he's only played 2 years on it, was just curious how this is affecting Seattle's cap.

I heard about this today on the radio. It's basically a push. I think Seattle takes a 150K cap hit or something small like that.

And I hope the Broncos sign him.

Seems awfully fortunate since at the time he was the highest paid RB in NFL history.
