I love the report, great analysis - but a little bit of "fence sitting."

C'mon SportsGuru, I won't tell anyone, who are you pulling for?

I'll say it out loud, I want Williams. He is smart, and has a proven record against better talent. He could be smart enough and large enough to fill in at LT, RT, or LG. High character, stronger lower body build - I'll take Williams.

Clady looks great, but I usually see him on tape beating up linebackers. I want someone who can hold the DE, not overpower a LB while already running at him.

Give me Williams (or Albert) over Clady. If Kuper really has a better shot at LT this year anyway, we might be looking at someone who could compete at RT (with Pears), or at LG (with Hamilton), then move to LT in the future.

Careful. The zebras already said that they were making this a point of emphasis this season.

Every OT holds every time they get the chance. Not getting caught is what separates the good ones from the bad ones.

I loved a recent interview with Jake Long where he confirmed exactly the same thing. He said something to the effect of "I hold on every single play." The reason he doesn't get caught (like to other really good Tackles) is that he still keeps his hands in the numbers and holds the shoulder pads.

I actually think that Williams has better feet than Clady. Just what I've read.

Williams is the better, NFL ready player and the better person. About time we started getting some good guys in the fold her vs. coke heads, crack dealers, and A-Holes looking to goose it up in Bronco country.

That's kind of closed minded and judgmental, don't you think?

Williams might like crack just like the next guy. Think before you open your pie-hole next time, that's just insensitive... Man...

I like Williams better to be honest. The point of the story was to get input from all of you, but since you asked I'd have to go with Williams. I like guys who play at big time universities, or against big time competition. Being from Vandy proves Williams is a smart guy, and while the Commodores are not known for their football, playing every week in the SEC means Williams has seen the best college football has to offer.

Add all that together with the fact that Williams and Cutler are familiar with each other and I think it is a slam dunk.

Did Williams start for the Commodores when Jay was there?

EDIT: Just read the article, and my question was answered.

By season's end, regarded as one of team's most dependable offensive lineman, alternating between two positions on left side with responsibility of protecting [Jay Cutler's] blindside... Consistently graded out as one of team's top offensive linemen while seeing action in every game... Earned nine consecutive starts at left guard, though he played just as frequently at left tackle... Shared team's Offensive Player of the Week honors after performance in first collegiate start against Ole Miss... Two weeks later, named team's Offensive Player of the Week for performance against Middle Tennessee.

I like Williams better...I hold character and work ethic in too high regard. I think Clady may be more athletically gifted, but I want the guy who's going to leave it all on the field every time.

I have Clady graded much higher than Williams for several reasons. He has better footwork and technique, and is more agressive all around. He has great experience in the zone blocking scheme and could break the mold as a rookie starter.

I like the fact that Williams is a vocal leader and all, but do we need that in our offensive linemen? I prefer them to do their talking on the football field.

I am still hoping the Broncos find a way to trade down a bit, even if it means taking Williams at 17 or 19. This was just a breakdown of the two if we were forced to draft either one.

To be fair, Williams was injured and had something with his back that many were not privy to...at least that I remember. Does anyone remember hearing about his back condition before he was drafted that led to him missing last year?
