Didn't see this posted - there was a little blurb in the Denver Post about the Broncos having interest in Musa Smith, the Ravens RB. Perhaps a 1 year deal.

Musa's underrated but he's got a lot of wear and tear. With Henry, Young, Hall and Bell all on the roster - the FB position needs to be addressed before bringing in another HB.

I've always thought he would be dominant in our backfield. Do it.

He has the tools but with one major problem. INJURY PRONE. If he comes real cheap than take a shot but if he wants to break the bank dont do it.

Right, a cheap 1 year deal is worth it. At worst he could provide insurance in case Henry and/or Young get banged up again.

I don't see any reason to bring in a RB. None at all. Denver is set at RB. They can take a flyer on one in the later rounds. Musa could be a fine back. I just don't think he could beat out Hall at this point. He might be a little better at this point but salary and age wise Hall has to be the 3rd RB.

Doesn't make any sense, we are set at RB.

I keep thinking the same thing everytime a running back's name comes up. Why in the world would we waste any brainpower or contract money on a vet to come in and sit the bench and get maybe 5 carries all year? We can just pick someone up in the 7th round and also get some undrafted free agents to come in and compete for that last RB or practice squad spot and pay them next to zip, plus they'll have more upside and potential. We shouldn't even waste our time talking about runningbacks. I wasted too much time typing that little rant.

I have no problem with bringing this guy in for cheap. What's the worst that can happen? He's a punishing runner and an ok blocker. Worst case is he's cut before the season.

Why waste the time on this guy, we find RB's as undrafted free agents.

Only 3 RBs on the roster. Need more to fill out the practice reps and protect against injury. Why not?

Do you want someone linked to terrorism on the team you root for?

Except for the fact that he isn't linked to terrorism. His parents are. He isn't.

No...I subscribe to the school of thought that loyalty lies within the family before all else. But I appreciate you accusing me of being a racist.
