Not much of a difference between him and Walker...minus Walker's injured knee. |

Wow, just when it looked like Denver turned the corner and might play things a little smarter.

As I posted in the other thread....
Really? I watched NFL Network a lot today (NFL Replay and Total Access Live) and didn't hear one mention of that. They mentioned Moss but not any visits to Denver...unless it has been reported in the last two hours or so. |

If you can make happy with 6 touches a game and Brandon getting his 8 then go for it. Still, this team isn't a 12 or 13 win team... Moss will be a problem. Also don't forget that Cutler doesn't have 4 seconds in the pocket to wait for a route to develope. You draft Moss you better draft Clady/Williams at #1 and Cherilus/Otah/Baker in round 2 to play RT.

In fact, when they were mentioning Moss, they stated that (Adam and that GM dude) they guessed a deal with Moss and the Pats might be finished by the end of the day on Monday. They didn't see him going to another team.

I would like a speed out who can also return punts and kicks moss would be great but for the price I would rather spend a 2nd round pick on a rook who fills the bill although moss should get paid he had a hell of a year.

MOSS, PATS CLOSE, OR ARE THEY? There's a report tonight from Adam Schefter of NFL Network that the Patriots and receiver Randy Moss are close to a deal. Per Schefter, the Patriots have an offer on the table that would make Moss one of the highest-paid receivers in the league, and it's sounding more and more as if a deal will get done. But if that's the case, why hasn't Moss already signed the deal? Clearly, Moss is trying to get other teams interested. And, coincidentally, this new report could tend to scare them off. Indeed, a cynical person might conclude that the report was funneled to Schefter from the upper echelon of the Patriots organization with one objective in mind -- to short-circuit the market for Moss before it ever heats up. Fortunately, we don't know any cynical people. |

There is no way we can go after Randy Moss and then sign Brandon Marshall, Elvis Dumervil, and Tony to long term deals (which all are going to be pretty big)

If he would sign a 2-3 year deal (cap friendly too), i would sign him. He's 30 years old, how much can he have left in him?
