Just have to vent here.
I was about even with a guy and we were heads up for the money, with 2nd getting only their buy-in back. I'm getting some crap cards, doing a lot of folding. I'm in the big blind and I get a 7-2. He merely calls so I see the flop. The flop is 7-K-2. He bets 1K, and I go all in. He calls. He has K-5. Then the turn comes and it's a 2. I'm feeling pretty good. And then the King hits on the river. Unbelievable. It sucks because I played some damn good poker tonight, and I was victimized three times by bad beats like that. I clawed my way back twice, but he had me covered for that last hand. Well, like my Dad always said, it's better to be lucky than good. But damn I got Fonecoed tonight...... |

I love the hand, but at worst, I think he thinks he has kicker problems..at that point its a coin flip

But when the turn comes up and I have 2 pair to his pair of kings? There's only one card that saves him, and he has only about a 3% chance of hitting at that point.
Pre-flop, I get you. But we went all-in post flop. |
