1 vs 2, just curious what the opinion is out of state. Being a Vol fan, we're not used to all this, but its through the roof in the state of Tennessee right now.

Born and bred Memphian and true blue Tiger fan. Go Tigers! And its even easier to hate the Vols now than ever. I graduated from White Station High last year, so rooting against Dane Bradshaw was always hard. And now J. P. Prince is at UT, but he's much easier to root against than Dane. Tough story with the illness at Arizona, losing so much weight. But the whole transferring to Vandy and then to UT thing, whatever.
I had to watch UT beat my Tigers in Football in 06. Great atmosphere, terrible game. Was at the game in 96 when Memphis pulled that 21-17 upset against Peyton Manning. Pure ecstacy. For anyone not from the state (all of you), this is a big rivalry in Memphis and not so much for Tennessee. UT is like that big brother that always beats up on you, and you're just waiting for that shot to hit back. This is it. Our sport. Our year. You may have us in football, but you're on our court now. All the Smiths in the world can't overcome CDR. |

Are all of Memphis' players out of jail for this one? Calipari is more prison warden than coach. Go Tennessee.

I'll pull for Tennessee but only because my Longhorns beat them earlier in the season and so a win trickles back to our RPI more favorably. With Kansas' loss, Texas has a chance to sneak into a #1 seed.

Tennessee is making more mistakes early. Memphis is shooting lights out from 3 but most of those shots have been wide open. Tennessee is shooting rainbows under pressure. Memphis is not.

The better conditioned team will win. That is some fast paced basketball they're playing.

Congrats to the Vols. That was certainly worth the price of admission. Close game. I don't think this hurts either one in terms of #1 seeds.
