Default Be thankful we're not Broncomania...

Sometimes we get folks migrating from Broncomania and they'll claim it's not as bad as is often suggested over here. I was browsing looking for any other news articles and saw a thread where someone is actually recommending that the Broncos go with a 4 DE line because, and I quote, "DTs are rare"!

He used the Giants as an example by saying they use Osi, Tuck, Kiwi, and Strahan as their line. Kiwi went to LB and Tuck is a DT.

Once again, thank you all for being smarter than a Chef fan and I'm glad we're not Broncomania.

Oh, and we're also yet to see a "sign Pacman" thread but they have one over there. Broncomania is our NFL-Europa...

Some may say that this place is heading in that direction. I myself hope it isn't but with the crazy Madden trades and ADD nature I worry.

I crack up everytime I see the 6th round pick theory. "Ian Gold and a 6th round pick for Peyton Manning and Reggie Wayne"!

SoCal has a great name for that place...KoolaidMania or something like that. It's hard to argue. If the horribly oversized and self-indulgent signatures don't bug you, the weird takes and limited historical knowledge on the team will. Most of them are teenagers and so don't remember anything beyond the 1997. This also reflects on some of their other posts about what a team needs to win and how trades should work. There are some good guys over there, though. They are much kinder to each other than they are here, but they are also policed more heavily. It's kind of like Disneyland, now that I think about it.

I spent an offseason there before finding the Mane. I'm surprised I didn't kill myself.

Apparently the consensus there is that Mendenhall is the ONLY logical pick at #12. Either that or Phillips...

It's a sad place. They do have one poster, Archimedes' Owl, who I would love to have here. He's very intelligent and has nice takes.

I happened to be there in the earliest days of the Jake vs Jay fights when I only came over here occasionally. I don't remember anyone but Bronco Mtn Man who came over here for a few days last year and didn't fit in too well. That place was rediculous back in those days... I only go back now when I need a chuckle. Unfortunately I liked telluride over there, he seemed a decent poster but then apparently Shanny slept with his girl and now we have to listen to him cry and moan all day long.

Mtn Man's not that bad now that Jake is gone. He's just an angry old man.

That chief troll kmart is actually a contributor over there, where they moderate trolls and rival fans more closely. Over here's he's just an uneducated b****, though.

Chef trolls aren't as bad as we knock em to be but when they seem like they're getting to be a good poster, they throw out some Bobisms and they pay for it for the next year. Kmart sounds familiar... I think I've seen him somewhere.

Maybe Mtn Man is Jake and he picked the name when he grew the beard... that'd be hillarious.

It's true that this place has lost alot of good posters, but I don't see it getting quite that bad yet.

After awhile you simply realize who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't. At one time no one was on my ignore list, but in the last year I've added Bobo, all the Raiders trolls, most the Charger trolls and then bozos like Cutthemdown and Telluride.

Trust me, it tends to clean up alot of the "clutter."

LMAO...I feel dumber for having read that thread. Their inability to form complete sentences and spell correctly isn't helping their cause much either.

This post might take the cake though...
