WOW The locals estimated the crowd at 1800 (+-) he has one hell of a following, especially considering that Obama filled the DU hall and gym to capacity and then they had to put speakers outside so the overflow could hear him speak.

Sorry Taco, this wont turn out like the "turtle and the hare"!

Chelsea Clinton makes a surprise visit to CUBarack Obama attracted a massive crowd to the University of Denver on Wednesday, telling 18,000 packed into a hockey arena and two overflow sites that he is the presidential candidate who can unite this country.

Elet Valentine and her 13-year-old daughter, Amani, started the line of attendees at 4:30 a.m., huddling against the cold outside Magness Arena. It would be four frigid hours before the doors opened, and by then thousands snaked in two directions through the campus.

Once the arena's 9,500-person capacity limit was met, another 4,500 were shunted into a gym that had been reserved for a staging and logistics area. Once that was filled, another 4,000 swamped a lacrosse field to listen to Obama's speech — which started

shortly after 11 a.m. — piped in through loudspeakers.

Staff writer Jeremy Meyer contributed to this report.

That a 10-1 difference.

Tell Ron to be thankful he's running as a repuke, he'd really be fugged if were running as a dem. At least with the slim pickins the Repukes are trotting out on the field, he doesn't look quite as bad.
