In your opinion, how well did Marcus Thomas do during his first year? And most importantly, what kind of potential do you see in him?

Thomas seemed to do well, had games where you noticed 79 making plays. I think Denver got a good one there, if he continues to improve, he, Moss, Crowder and Dumervil will be a good mix of linemen to have.

Thanks for the link, Beantown Bronco
I hope Moss has been working out his upper body while injured. His lack of strength was one of his biggest question marks coming in. His broken leg will heel, if it hasn't already, but I've always been a little uneasy about his twisted knee last training camp. I know it was said to be nothing... I'd like to see us pick up a great round one DT this April to complete our DL. The Broncos groom their OL well, and have historically not needed high picks for this position... |

Considering he was a larger contributor to the team than our 1st round option Justin Harrell was to his, I'd say he's on the right track.

I'd say the guy played remarkably well for a rookie one year removed from football. He'll do well with an offseason training program and a year of NFL play under his belt. Slowik would be wise to use our front 4 in a gap assignment type D and let their natural asset, quickness, put them in a position to succeed.
I'll now stop beating this drum....... . . . . . . Ahhh, who am I kidding? I won't ever stop beating this drum. |

I think he's proven the ability to be a solid starter in the NFL. though he had an up and down rookie campaign, it was pretty good given the baggage he brough with him. He was the only DT last year from whom I saw any flashes of brilliant play at all. Whether he can anchor a line as a star DT remains to be seen.

Its funny the one guy who was b****ed about after we drafted him was absolutely silent on the negativity front. But the guy we raved about for signing in Travis Henry was chock full of controversy.
