over 100,000 Iraqis were killed in the Iraq war. Yet you blithely accept
the 500,000 figure due to sanctions that Lesley Stahl throws out as being
undisputed fact.

I'm not a right-winger, nor do I believe the 500,000 number is correct.

It was the left, primarily, who bandied about that figure, decrying the "US" (UN, actually) sanctions that were the cause (as they claimed) of all those deaths.

This quote by Albright was used as support for the belief on the Left that Clinton and his administration were GOP-lite, not real Democrats.

I did a Google search and got the quote from FAIR, as a matter of fact.
