We used to stay at I think a Holiday Inn in Raton that had a dome - large atrium area - and I think it had a miniature golf course inside. That was the 70s, though ...

Went by there , still there , though I dont know whats inside I stayed in the peterbilt Inn ...Now my sorry ass is stuck in Cheyenne probably until monday

I got caught in a a white-out at the top of Raton Pass about 7 weeks ago heading towards Santa Fe N.M.. Would not have made it down if not for gluing myself to the back of that 18-wheeler creeping 3 miles an hour all the way down.

As you are headed south bound at the bottom of the pass I always stop at that family restaurant about a 1/2mile or so on the right hand side. Good ole fashion cooking over there!

That pass can be a b****. Did about 20 up that sucker when OF1 wasn't tuned up after her remodel job. Thought I was going to have to ask people to push.
