Mayock's top 5 Safeties: Rank Player College 1. DaJuan Morgan N.C. State 2. Kenny Phillips Miami (Fla.) 3. Thomas DeCoud Auburn 4. Marcus Griffin Texas 5. Tyrell Johnson Arkansas State DeCoud goes to CAL and Tyrell Johnsons level of competition is obviously a concern. Morgan is considered a solid FS, but jeez, ahead of Phillips is a bit much. |

He has several players at the wrong school - Brandon Albert and Jack Ikegwuono are also wrong. I'm sure that will be cleaned up.

Dont agree with Morgan over Phillips. Dont know much about McKelvin so thats a possibility. Manningham is definitely one of the best if not the best receiver in this class. And i wouldnt argue about Henne too much although i think overall the Qb class this year is extremely weak. |

Mayoc always puts his michigan man-crush into his evaluations. and to leave the kid from Cal out of his wr prospects is plain dumb.

I haven't seen Morgan a bunch but he looks very solid and consistent. Probably not as big a playmaker potentially as Phillips though.
Manningham has had a great collegiate career when healthy. He is definitely a more polished WR than DeSean Jackson. DJ has all the rare ability that can make a player extremely special though. Obviously Mayock isn't buying it. Whatever, its just his opinion. He likes to stand alone in his picks though vs. the masses which all try to pile on the same players like ESPN, Kiper, and a plethora of others. |

Woah, he's got Mendenhall as the top running back. While I don't agree with it (or Elliss passing Dorsey) it's really nice to see a change from what everyone else has.

New one today.
Otah now listed over Clady. Who was it, BPC that propped him a long time back? Sweed as #1 WR - must think he's going to rumn better than expected at Indy. Flowers fom VaTech as #1 CB - that surprises me, but I think he will be really good. http://www.nfl.com/draft/story?id=09...o&confirm=true |

All this stuff will probably be different by next week (after the combine). It should be interesting to see how the O-line tests out.
I keep asking myself what Cutler's opinion of Chris Williams is. I thought Jay was always running for his life behind a sub-standard line? Why is Williams now one of the top O-line picks? Anyway, just asking. Maybe it was a lack of talent down the whole line, or maybe it was just the level of defensive competition in the SEC. |

Man, we could end up with a very nice haul in rounds 1 and 2.
Ryan Clady and DeSean Jackson Some questions... if Rodgers-Cromartie is there in the 2nd do you draft him ![]() How about Felix Jones or Malcolm Kelly? I wonder if the Niners would have any interest in giving up their 1st and 2nd for our #12. Chris Williams, DeSean Jackson, and Trevor Laws anybody> ![]() |

Larsen made some money when he played so well against Johnathon Stewart. He was Johnny on the spot and stood him up time and time again. Very good power at the POA, but range is an issue for him. |
