Can you imagine if we hadn't beaten the faiders for 9 years how it would feel to finally beat them??
That's how I feel tonight with Spurs finally beating Arsenal in the semi-final of the carling cup this evening!! And it wasn't just a beating, it was a massacre!!! 5-1! 5-1! ...and don't let any of the Arsenal fan's tell you it was their second team - the likes of Fabregas, Adebayor, Gilberto, they were all on the field by the end. I know none of you yanks will understand this but its reeeeeeal special to me so i just had to share......... ![]() |

Still a shame that Robbie Keane can´t score from the spot.

Knew someone would try and p**S on my fire...
But nothing can dent my euphoria! Robbie can miss from the spot if he continues to spank it past the a**enal keeper like he did last night...... "All I want is a team of Robbie Keanes, a team of Robbie Keanes, a team of Robbie Keanes..." |

You going to Wembley for the final?
My point is that the win should´ve come a few weeks earlier. At the Emirates in the league. Keane scores that pen, Arsenal are dead and buried. |

Dunno about Wembley - might be tough (and very expensive) to get tickets but I'm going to try!
As for the Keane pen...don't remind me! Thing is, the commentators gave out a stat in the early stages of the game last night: in the 21 games we've played since we last beat them we have taken the lead in about half of them (only to lose it later, obviously). So actually scoring has not traditionally been our problem - our colander-esque defending has been. Last night, in fact, was a towering defensive performance and a lot of the goals were scored on the break - something we've not seen at Spurs for a while... Oh, and I think its actually: "We all dream of a team of Robbie Keanes" (to the tune of Yellow submarine!!) 1 - Keane 2- Keane 3- Keane 4 - Keane 5 - Keane 6- Keane 7- Keane 8 - Keane 9 - Keane 10 - Keane 11 - Keane (you can get a T-shirt with that on it!) Just try telling anyone down the lane he is anything less than a total legend..... |
