Romney got Nevada by a large margin which puts his delegate count at 61. Second place has Huckabee at 22 and McCain at 15 with one of those two likely to get a boost from South Carolina. Hopefully Thompson can surprise and steal SC and we can use Florida to close the door on McCain.
The Jury is still out on the Dems in Nevada but it would appear that the Clintons are crying about cheating. I hope Obama pulls that one out, but we'll have to see. |

Romney has been basically the only republican devoting serious energy to Nevada the last few weeks, ofcourse he's going to win. Hopefully McCain can hold on in SC, but in the last two days, Huck has gotten within the MOE (and in fact, in several polls it is either a straight up tie and even in one poll he is ahead) which bothers me.
And yes...hopefully Obama can pull it out in NV somehow, cause he is already going to win in SC next week.

It's a shame that Paul has to fight the media's electability issue. He's beaten Giuliani in almost every state to date. New Hampshire is the only state Guiliani finished ahead of Paul (by only 1%) Now, Paul proved he can beat McCain in a state that neither campaigned in. The media had Guiliani as the front-runner and McCain 2nd for the last couple years. That's why it's significant he's able to beat them. He's getting a lot of media/government resistence, but at least his ideas are getting out there. He will get to speak at the convention.
