I could use a little home maintenance advice.
Hey all,
I spilled a container of juice on my stove today. The left hand burners then refused to light up. I removed the plates from the stove and cleaned the rest of the juice up with paper towels. I then used clorox wipes to get the rest of the stickiness out. And then the right hand burners stopped working. I know the gas is flowing, and I hear the clicks as it tries to ignite, but there does not seem to be any spark to get the flames going. This has happened to me with just one burner and I didn't do anything about it. Eventually, the burner just started working again. I think it has something to do with something still being wet. Has anyone else here had this problem? How did you fix it? Thanks in advance, JCM |

Cleaning wipes on a gas stove...sounds dangerous to me

Yep...and I'd recommend the ceramic top...no burners to deal with!
