Default Just 49 yards separates them: Who do you want to lead the team in rushing?

No 1,000-yarder this year obviously, but our RBs and rushing game have long been the crown jewels of the organization, so it matters (to me at least). Going into the finale, against the #1 rush defense in the league, Travis Henry leads rookie phenom Selvin Young by a mere 49 yards. Neither player is listed on the injury report.
. . . . . . . . . . . . .. . Carries . Yards . Avg.
1. Travis Henry . . 167 . 691 . 4.1
2. Selvin Young .. 118 . 642 . 5.4

Id like Selvin Young to have more yards since its extremely likely he will also have a higher YPC. I dont want to see Henry be given a chance to redeem himself next year and its partly because of the nonsense and partly because Im not so sure he is better than Young....and if Young leads in both YPC and rushing yards, it will call attention to that.

I'm going to say Selvin, mainly for the fact it'll probably make Travis come into next year with a huge chip on his shoulder.

Isn't it obvious that Henry is gone. Although he might restructure considering all his problems this year. He'd be a great backup to Young.

I voted for Henry solely on the strength of the fairly clever Johnny Appleseed reference. Well done, sir.

Mixing themes to short-lived HBO shows and Travis Henry, that's just not very nice.

Although really appropriate, now that I think of it.

Young. I don't know if I can forgive Henry for the feeble block attempt on Hart last week vs. bolts. That may have been the last straw for me. Come on Selvin. Beef up a little in the offseason and go for 1200 next year.

Doesn't matter - neither are impressive to me.

I started to get on the Selvin Young bandwagon but fell off. Our running game is a mere weak shell of what it once was.

Aging O-line and the stupid 2 back system has taken our running game away.
