A couple guys from Michigan State that I really enjoyed watching yesterday were Devin Thomas - WR who is a junior. He actually reminds me a lot of Javon Walker when he came out. If he declares and there is wide spread rumor that he will, he'll be drafted based on his 40 which is supposed to sit at 4.5 right now. He would be a perfect physical presence in our offense if we decide to take a look at WR in round 2-4. He might slide a little bit declaring early.

Kellen Davis TE has been blackflagged for having some character issues but those might be in the past for him. ON the field he has developed late and into a real mid-field threat. At first glance he looks like a carboncopy of Kellen Winslow Junior, only a poor man's version. Doesn't have great speed but more than adequate and he is getting adept at finding holes in the zone and becoming a great safety valve for MSU QB's. He never really found a full-time position at MSU until his senior year and even then he still doubled as a DE. In fact in MSU's first two contests of the year against UAB and Bowling Green he had a sack in each ball game. He's finished the year with 28 catches and about 475 yds receiving and five TD's. He could be a great compliment on our team this year next as we feature the TE a lot and could use somemore depth. Right now he is looking like a 4th or 5th round pick in April's draft.

Thomas was counting on showcasing his punt return skills. Those two drops didn't help him in that regard.

Davis's character issues were from a high school incident. He might be the best all round TE in the draft if he keeps his head on straight.
