I just hope the feelings the Broncos have now remain come Mar/Apr.

Ok...one last time.

I LIKE Brandon. He's got some awesome moves.
I DON'T LIKE his drops and his off the field behavior or the "Portis-like" type of behavior.
I want him to succeed.
But, I am just a little leery in the fact that we've had players that have turned into "Me" players or have only been a 1 or 2 year wonder...I'm reserving my judgement is all.

True...maybe I am a little harder on Brandon...but I've learned my lesson in jumping on the bandwagon for players that haven't been around that long (See threads on Griese, Plummer and even Lelie).

Me players dont grind out 10 catches in a half with an hurt arm and continue to play hard as hell in the second half without any td's. Marsh isn't a me player.

Its cool Sass, im not b****ing at you. I know your a Bronco fan true and blue. I just have noticed this year you have been a little punchy on him. I can understand the concern but i dont think he has gone that far off the deep end yet. So im just saying take it a little easy on him and if you want to wait and see how it turns out great. It was just something i noticed this year with you thats all. I still love you.

I can see TO, Chad Johnson, etc. in this kid.

Why do I need to justify what I think about Brandon to you?

You are still not telling me why you think I'm ignorant/unappreciative...
Everything I've stated is true.
Unfortunately, I do read your posts... a habit I'm quickly learning I need to kick.

I'll ask again... what do you specifically not like about his behavior? You keep mentioning it's his behavior you don't like, but haven't cited specific examples.

His attitude.
...and I just love the fact that I can't have an opinion around here without getting bashed. (insert roll-eyes smiley here.)

You also haven't elaborated on why I'm ignorant and unappreciative...but you know what...I don't really care about your opinion on that either.

What off the field issues has Brandon had? The only thing he's got is that DUI, which I certainly don't like but he has plead not guilty and people like D.J Williams have that happen and it's never an issue again.

Because I have... several times. This is a player thats played through pain for your viewing entertainment, and has played every down with heart and 110% effort (don't believe me watch some of those 30sec plays where he breaks 10 tackles but gains zero yards... that's trying to make a play for the TEAM), that you've not liked because of "his attitude" when you have YET to cite any examples of why you might even have an interpretation of his attitude as bad.

Something about chasing a cabbie down with his girlfriend in the back seat.... he blocked them in with his car...yada yada. I believe he was cited.

For the record, I love Marshall and can't wait to see the next however many years with him and Cutty. He is however, still a bit immature. No big deal! I think the right people caught his ear after the DUI and he's coming around.

His attitude is similar to Randy Moss, Terrell Owens, Portis...
I don't want him to develop into that type of player...but forget it.
You think I have no football knowledge and that my opinion is worthless anyway...and no matter what...even if I am saying I like Marshall, you're not believing me anyway.

Considering Pears in 2006 in just 10 games started allowed just as many sacks as Foster EVER did in a full sixteen game season and has let up his fair share this year - I'd take Foster over Pears any day of the week, because Foster actually offered SOMETHING in the running game, not falling down one step up the field and hitting the feet of our backs trying to cut back.

Foster's not on the team anymore, but only allowed 13.5 sacks in 45 games as a starter. When you compare him to some of the other tackles in the league, that's actually well below the average amount. Sure, I supported him - not everyone is right about every player.

Fact is Pears has played as worse, if not worse than George - and that's really sad.

Why is Portis in that list? People like him are good for football. He makes it fun, he has fun doing what he loves. Him dressing up at press conferences is great.

How so? Each of those three players make volitale comments to the press and do distracting things in the locker room...B-Marsh has never done this. Or do you have an example? He's usually pretty congenial with the press and gives them your normal garden variety comments. The snow as a prop thing is a joke, who knew that would get penalized?

Marshall was a fourth rounder instead of a high first day pick due to character issues. To impeach his character in 2 years in DEN with 2 seperate arrests seems quite normal to me. The guy had a flag up in the draft for things no one here knows about and his behavior has NOT been spotless off the field. Why is everyone giving Sass a hard time for saying that?

We ALL know DEN will look the other way for talented players with character issues. They have a huge track record in that.

Well I find it pretty hard to call it an issue for a guy when the courts decided they didn't have a case and dismissed the charges. Also, the girlfriend would have had nothing to do with whether or not the charges were thrown out. Generally speaking whenever there is a domestic issue like that, the courts are the ones who decide who to charge and with what.

You're labeling him with no basis of facts... comparing him to TO and Moss? What teammates has he thrown under the bus? And I don't thinking lumping Portis in there is fair either.

All I'm asking for is 2-3 examples of an "attitude" that you seem intent on condeming him for.

I actually thought it would. But mainly because anytime any player celebrates after a score the refs and league are looking at what they are going to do. I thought it was harmless but i can see where the league looked at it as a prop. Weak, but understandable considering Ocho and company have opened the door for it.
