MARSHALL INCIDENT CONFIRMED

Though the extent of the situation is still unclear, we're confirmed via another league source that Broncos receiver Brandon Marshall was involved in a verbal altercation on Monday with receivers coach Jeremy Bates.

Marhsall is regarded as one of the better young receivers in the NFL. However, supreme talent might not be the only thing he has in common with the likes of Terrell Owens.

Coincidentally, Marshall pleaded not guilty on Tuesday to DUI charges. He was arrested on October 22.

Hopefully Brandon's rant on Jeremy Bates went something like this:

'I am going to whip the dog crap out of your skinny white ass if your dad can't devise a scheme to get to the ****ing quarterback.'

I see ya Sassy, but i think he'll be ok in the end.

This had been a frustrating season to say the least.

With Walker being out most of the year, it has put some added pressure on Marshall.

I know he's got the talent and is right there with Cutler as one of the players Denver has to build around for the future.

That said, I just plain don't like brash, mouthy, prima donna players and if Marshall turns into one of them, well...I won't like him either no matter what he does on the field (for the record, I never liked Sharpe's antics or mouth either).

If anyone doesn't like that, well I don't care..............deal with it.

Does this mean that your username will not be changed to "Hogan15" anytime soon?

Hahaha....touche, Hogan.

Like you guys, I was going to go to the SD game this year until I found out it was on Christmas Eve (and ofcourse now the game is also meaningless).

We'll meet up....I gotta order that 26/84 "Hogan" jersey first, tho.

When your losing tempers are bound to flare. Especially with a young player and a team full of new coaches. And people there are a lot of coaches on this team. Too many if you ask my opinion.

It would be like them adding 3 bosses to your shift during the comnpanies worst year ever. Things wouldn't be fun.

Having said that Marshal worries me a little bit. He seems to have that predisposition to get into trouble.

I've heard quite the opposite from pretty good source, but who really knows...and, realistically, does it matter??

There's a hallway...perhaps even more than one...between areas of the Bronco complex that generates a kind of echo chamber.

Players like to yell and hoot walking through it (them), just to make noise.

Coaches & trainers are known to yell at players to quiet down, and I suppose it could sound angry when it's really not.

It's interesting that this would even leak out considering how confined the trainers area is away from any peeking eyes...or ears.

Oh well, rather tame considering the turmoil of this season in it's entirety.

****in' aye, man.

That's why I can't wait to see Henry run out of town. (Though, I have a bad feeling we'll be stuck with him next season.)

thats fine, wabbit...I kind of hope it's true. I think most would agree that someone in this organization deserves and ass chewing. This team is desperate for leadership and Marshall looks to be a leader on and off the field.

Marshall is nothing but a positive except for his driving incident, which still has to play out in the courts.

The difference between musical performers and athletes has been discussed here ad nauseum over the years...no need to pick off that old scab again.

Use the search feature.....BTW, are you going to the SD tailgate this year?

Im curious as to why people want to young adult males (who on average have aggression issues), watch them perform a violent profession and fully expect them to be model citizens off the field?

And then, when they're accused, they're immediately guilty regardless of due process simply due to being young males in violent professions.

I'd love it if some of these guys would actually show the same intensity ON the field as they show OFF of it....

Why do you have such low expectations?
Now you're assuming all athletes have aggression issues?

They are a model for kids...why would you expect them to be any less that a model citizen.

Sorry...but if you're picked up for a DUI...and they test your blood alcohol and send you to detox...you're pretty much guilty..now, whether he gets off or not is a different deal altogether.

So your last string that you're clutching too of marshall having an attitude and being an ass is an open case for a DUI?

You really want to hate him!

I have a daughter, and if she chooses to idolize athletes or movie stars and their personal decisions/poor judgment affects her life, than I have done a ****ty job as a parent. Not Brandon Marshall. No one elses blame but mine.
