Talk about a city that needed a win:

-Dolphins hadn't won in over a calendar year
-Marlins suck and traded Miguel Cabrera, a future Hall of Famer, and Dontrelle Willis
-Heat suck
-Hurricane football sucks and they get blown out in Orange Bowl finale
-Panthers continue to toil in mediocrity
-Sean Taylor murdered in town by young hoodlums from across the state

The Miami sports scene is the complete opposite of Boston right now.

The best team in the city is Miami Northwestern High School, which is the best HS football team in the country and some have called it the most talented HS team ever.
