It seems to be general agreement that Pears needs to go. IS it just his pass blocking or also his lack of run blocking?
Is Lepsis struggling in both Run and pass situations HOw have the Rookies looked? Are we set with them if Nalan and Hamilton don't come back? About Holland? No one seem to say anything positive or negative about him. Can we draft someone and expect them to contribute to our scheme? Thanks for everyones help ![]() |

I think we can get a OT through free agency and his name is Max Starks...and then we can draft one

Who would Lepsis help at left guard? I thought he did well against speed guys. Not big guys like D tackles.

He's not even the starting right tackle anymore for the steelers. He'd be just like Pears,Foster... There is only one offensive linemen, from the steelers, that's worth the money in free agency. His name is Alan Faneca. ![]() |

Max along with Trai Essex filled in. But now Marvel is back. Max is a jack of all trade O-linemen. Not worth giving big time money. He's a decent role palyer, but not a guy you want starting at LT. |

Bidding war? Nah... Fanny just wants to be in the top three of OG paid.
Something like 7 million per... At 31 years old this will be his last contract (big time money) so he wants to get paid. He's one hell of a locker room guy. Leadership, fire and passion to bust DL/LBs in the mouth. Depending on Hamiltons head and Nalens knee... the off-season could be interesting. |

Free Agency is just going to be a stop gap. They need to spend the draft on quality OLine and Defense. Build from within not from FA its just not working.

As much as I hate losing, 6-10 draft pick would be better than an 8-8 draft pick...

Heav,
yeah I'm all for loosing. I wouldn't mind loosing in barn burners though, I would love to see Culter and the offense really explode. The Defense...well thats why we have an off season right. So, the general agreement is tackles, not guards. Does anyone think Lepsis can comeback to form next year?... How does the cap hit count if players retire? Say like Hamiltan? |

I was thinking about that too but hes going to be 33 next yr but I mean he still might have a good 2-3 years left and that might be a good pickup since the broncos have soo many important holes to fill and they could look to other positions..but idk

My concern is not fixated on the interior line. We've seen improvement from Kuper & Myers with Holland having a solid year. It's the OTs that are going to get Jay killed - much less give him time to complete a pass more that 15 yards downfield.
Hamilton and Nalen are still in the mix as well in the interior - but who knows what their futures hold. |

Does anybody know how Ryan Harris is looking in practice etc.The Broncos were pretty high on this guy being a future LT.
